Our Friend of the Flower Housing is the standard option for those interested in community-based living!

Whether you’re a social justice advocate, eco-warrior, maker-extraordinaire, or simply passionate about building community, the LFC is the place to be.  In keeping with our commitment to social justice, we also offer housing to refugees and other traditionally marginalized groups as well as to those who already live in the Beechwood neighborhood and have been referred to us by a community-based organization or neighborhood leader.

Perhaps you’re enticed by the built-in network of support or like the idea of being tapped into all the interesting ongoings that living near other community-oriented folks offers, but you would still prefer to have your own private apartment. Maybe you’re ready to dive right into community life and hope to eventually move in to our Community House. Maybe you just need a safe, quality, and affordable place to live.
